Jim Carrey is Officially a Sugar Daddy, says SeekingArrangement.com Creator

How would one classify Jim Carreys romantic relationship with Russian-born college student, Anastasia Vitkina? Brandon Wade, founder of the largest sugar daddy dating website, SeekingArrangement.com, announced today that the relationship between Jim Carrey and Anastasia Vitkina is no different than the hundreds of thousands of relationships formed between older Sugar Daddies and younger college Sugar Babies on his website. That would officially make Jim Carrey a Sugar Daddy and Anastasia Vitkin his College Sugar Baby.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) December 29, 2011

Jim Carrey was spotted holding hands with a new mystery woman in Los Angeles this week. Less than 24 hours ago, New York Post revealed that the mystery lady is in fact Anastasia Vitkina, a 23 year old college student from New York who began dating Jim Carrey after his split with Jenny McCarthy last year. According to New York Post, Vitkina has been flying back and forth from New York to Los Angeles to see the actor.

Since the two were spotted together at a Guns N Roses gig in Los Angeles this past week, the media has been quick to analyze their relationship. So, how does one classify Jim Carreys relationships with Anastasia Vitkina?

Brandon Wade, the creator of SeekingArrangement.com, the largest sugar daddy dating website, announced today that the relationship between Jim Carrey and Anastasia Vitkina as described by the New York Post article is similar to the hundreds of thousands of romantic relationships formed between older Sugar Daddy and younger college Sugar Baby members of his website.

If media coverage of their relationship is accurate, that would make Jim Carrey a Sugar Daddy, and Anastasia Vitkina his College Sugar Baby, says Wade, who is also the author of The Definitive Guide to Sugar Daddy and Mutually Beneficial Relationships. A Sugar Daddy is a successful, wealthy and usually older man who is willing to pamper a Sugar Baby in return for friendship, companionship or romance.

SeekingArrangement.com currently boasts over a million members worldwide, with over 10 Sugar Babies registrations for every Sugar Daddy registration. Approximately 40% of its Sugar Baby members are college students. Much like Anastasia Vitkina, many of the college Sugar Babies on the website travel cross country to spend time with their Sugar Daddies. Since college students do not have much of an income, travel expenses are often fully paid for by their Sugar Daddies.

There is nothing wrong with being a Sugar Daddy, or a Sugar Baby, says Wade, an MIT alumni who was named Mr. Sugar Daddy by the Wall Street Journal. Given the current economic crisis, many struggling college students prefer to date older and wealthier men over the typical college romances. Sugar daddies have the financial resources to afford first class travel, five star hotels, and Michelin-rated restaurants.

Top fitness trends: More certified pros, strength training, older adults

As your fitness resolutions for the New Year start to settle in, what trends can you expect to see in the fitness industry this year?

There will always be those late night infomercials promising six-pack abs and easy weight loss in return for just minutes of your time per week, but those usually are just short-lived fads. The American College of Sports Medicine has published its sixth Worldwide Survey of Fitness Trends predicting and ranking the top 20 trends for 2012.

Occupying the top spot for the past five years is the trend toward educated, certified and experienced fitness professionals. As people get more overweight and unhealthy, we increase our need for educated people to promote and direct changes towards healthy lifestyle behaviors. The US Department of Labor expects jobs for fitness workers to increase much faster (20 percent plus) than the average for all other occupations through 2018.

Strength training is second on the list, and several of the trends on the top 20 list incorporate some sort of strength training component, including fitness programs for older adults, group personal training, functional fitness, core training, boot camp and sport-specific training. Clearly, there is a trend for men and women young and old to incorporate some sort of strength training into their routines. Benefits include improved ability to perform activities of daily living, increased weight loss and maintenance and improved sport performance.

Its always interesting to see what fell out of the top 20 list. This year it was Pilates, balance training and the use of the stability ball.

What will be your fitness trend for 2012? Will you have a fitness fad, such as a New Years resolution that you take up with great enthusiasm but only for a brief period? Or will you develop a fitness trend that lasts through the entire year? Im sure you can guess what my recommendation would be.
